proper way to reconfigure OLFS?

Suppose we wanted OLFS to point to a BES on a machine other than  
localhost.  There is a place in the file initialContent/olfs.xml to  
set that.  My questions are:
(0) Is this the right mail list for this question?
(1) Is the initialContent/olfs.xml file the only place we need to  
reset that?
(2) Is the proper way to just edit in place, or do you recommend we  
edit elsewhere and repackage into a .war file?
(3) Could we run two OLFS services in one Tomcat, one called opendap  
pointing to localhost and one called opendap2 pointing to a BES on  
another machine using this?  Would there be any obvious conflicts?
